Weekly Chess Sessions
Weekly chess sessions for the visually-impaired
running from 2 pm to 4 pm on Monday afternoons from
5 September. The venue for these is very close to Bromley-by-Bow tube
station and the address is:
Bromley by Bow Centre
St Leonard’s St
Bromley by Bow
London E3 3BT.
The idea is to teach beginners from scratch but also to run it on a club
basis where people can pop in and play games as and when they are able to
attend.
There are volunteers on hand to meet people at Bromley-by-Bow station for
the short walk to the centre.
These sessions are being run by East London Vision, contact Nicola Stokes,
who is taking names of attendees so that we can ensure there are enough
chess sets. The BCA is providing the sets and there is no charge for anyone
attending.
